Even on big screens the windows are too small and a projector doesn't always project a clear image. That's an expense not many people are eager to pay for. PLEASE add at least 2 player split screen if you can!!!ġ. Would they need to have less precise physics calculations, simplified car models, utilize multicore processors in a better way, etc. If set on the lowest settings, would the game run with OK framerate on a gaming computer or would they have to create a seperate lower poly version of tracks and textures. Trackmania Turbo, Trackmania 2, Distance, Sonic Allstars Racing Transformed, F1 Race Stars, etc. The 4 player split screen games coming out these days tend to be more arcady and designed to target both high and low end computers. There is no collision between cars and you get arrows indicating both the direction and the degree of the turn. The last rally title to have 4 player split screen on PC is Colin McRae Rally 2005.
